URGENT NEED

we have a need of help.

I got a call yesterday from a good Samaratin in the metro area.

It seems that she is one of those especially great people who go out and feed colonies of feral cats.

yesterday she was feeding her colony and saw a dog lying on the side of the road. she went to it and got it. someone saw her and told her that they saw someone throw it from the car.

the dog is a dauchaund mix and appears to be very pregnant and has a broken leg.

the dog needs immediate medical care and our moneys are low.

When we had our fundraiser, we raised money to go towards our past due medical/vet bills, but it didn't cover all we owed and the day to day operations of the shelter don't stop. Donations have been slow and we are out of money. so. not only are we searching of ways to tend to our current residents, we need to step to the plate for this young (appears to be under a year) mother.
