the loyalty of a dog

there is a story in the news today of a man who committed suicide in the wilderness and his dog stood guard over him until someone found them. FOR SIX WEEKS.

it is amazing the power of love and loyalty that a dog or cat will have for their humans, and people who say; "it's just a dog" or "it's just a cat" are oh so wrong.

there is also the story of mozarts dog going to the grave with his body and laying there for weeks, until he (the dog) died also.

these creatures are capable of so much more than we mere humans can ever begin to understand or recognize.
