Blanche

When we found her, Blanche was depending upon the kindness of strangers.  She had delivered multiple sets of puppies  and was on a very busy street scrounging for food. 

She doesn’t have to scrounge anymore, but her days of living on the streets must remain in her memory because she is so grateful for the slightest scratch on the ear or pet on the head. She loves to be tickled as we pass her pen at the shelter.  She is a playful girl and gets along great with the girls we have placed with her. several of her roommates have been adopted already, so she has had new roommates added from time to time and there is never a problem with who comes to join her.  she soon has them romping around the pen and playing chase in the yard.
